Seeing Is Believing Tour Is Wednesday, August 22, 2012

We’d like to introduce you to the people who work every day to make a difference in our community, to share the stories of those whose lives have been changed and to show you the impact of your gift to United Way.
What: The “Seeing is Believing” bus tour provides volunteers with an opportunity to see first-hand where their donations go as they visit local agencies and programs, and meet the front line workers and recipients of services.
When: Wednesday, August 22, 2012, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. (lunch included)
Where: Board the bus at the Memorial Centre, 303 York Street
Who: United Way volunteers. The bus tour is sponsored by Kingston Transit.
About the United Way KFL&A
United Way serving KFL&A supports immediate needs in our community, funding local programs that were accessed by 85,000 people last year.
