Success By 6

Each year, United Way Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington’s annual Success By 6 week is an event many in the community look forward. Typically, the week offers free fun-filled activities across the region for families and children, however, given the current situation with COVID-19 and with public health in mind, in person activities are not possible this year.

Instead, we encourage community members to take advantage of virtual activities, outdoor activities and continue to take the time to focus on learning and growing. COVID-19 had been challenging for everyone and kids are struggling too. In consultation with KFL&A Public Health, local School boards and Queen’s University we’ve learned that just like all of us, kids are struggling with their mental health and well-being too.

Below are some ideas and links to activities like crafts, educational activities, virtual museum tours, reading tutorials and more. All activities are aimed at engaging young children and their families and having fun together  in tune with the message of “Take the time, make the moments matter™”
