Kingston United Way at 50% of Goal

They’re halfway there!

The Kingston-area United Way fundraising campaign has hit the 50 percent mark in donations towards this year’s goal.

The 12 week campaign kicked off the second week of September, with a goal of $3.35 million.

Fundraisers say there has been a tremendous response to the campaign – which is about 100 thousand dollars ahead of last year at this time.

As in the past, employees at more than 400 work sites and their in-house efforts form the backbone of the fundraising.

The campaign wraps up Nov. 29.
