Kingston Radio is United for United Way

85,000 is a big number. Unfortunately, that’s how many people in Kingston need your help. Sounds overwhelming, doesn’t it? Good thing we have the United Way. When you give to United Way, you support a network of agencies that provide vital programs to thousands of people in Kingston – single parents, children, the elderly, the physically challenged, homeless and many more.

Last year, United Way invested in 89 programs which benefited 85,000 people here in our community.

This year’s target is $3,418,000.00 Give. Volunteer. Act.

Kingston radio, is united to help United Way.

United Way of KFL&A would like to acknowledge this traditional territory’s longer existence and its significance for the Indigenous people who lived and continue to live on Turtle Island.

We are situated on traditional Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee and Huron-Wendat land. There are Métis and other non-status First People from many Indigenous Nations present in our community today. This acknowledgement symbolizes the United Way KFL&A’s first step, of many, along this path toward Indigenous reconciliation, in a respectful manner.
