Frontenacs Release Tragically Hip Fan Signs
Some Tragically Hip Fans Lined Up Outside The K-Rock Centre Today
Some Tragically Hip fans lined up outside the K-Rock Centre today – hoping to be the first to get their hands on a new piece of collectable merchandise. After getting the “go ahead” from the band, the Kingston Frontenacs store is selling their limited edition “The Tragically Hip Way” street sign. Only 500 signs are available and they’re selling fast. Each sign is being sold for 20-dollars … with all proceeds going to the United Way.
Justin Chenier
“The fact that we can donate all of the proceeds to the united way kind of fits the model of what the band is trying to do, which is help out when they can. You know as a hockey club and a business in Kingston we found it to be our duty as well.”
