Bayridge Secondary School is continuing with a fall tradition that is both entertaining and helps the community.
For the 19th year the west-end secondary school is presenting their annual fashion show with all proceeds going to the United Way Kingston Frontenac Lennox and Addington.
This year’s show, entitled Dorothy Meets Hollywood, premiered Wednesday night and will also have shows Thursday and Friday evenings at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $10.
The show features about 100 models along with 20 supporters who have worked on set design and lighting among other tasks. Students in every grade are participating in the show.
Caroline Worthy, the school’s principal and one of the show’s organizers, said the students have been working for about two months on the production.
It usually raises between $5,000 to $6,000 she said.
