PHOTO OP: City of Kingston launches workplace campaign with BBQ
Mayor Mark Gerretsen has invited all City and Utilities Kingston staff to a BBQ and United Way kick-off.
When: Friday, September 14, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Where: The new Public Works building at 701 Division Street. Please enter at 141 Railway Street. Parking is available at the City yard and at the Railway Street fire hall.
What: Mayor Mark Gerretsen, CAO Gerard Hunt and John Hale (President CUPE Local 109) will all be cooking hot dogs, hamburgers, and veggie burgers for City and Utilities Kingston employees.
Who: City of Kingston and Utilities Kingston employees are invited.
There will be no charge for the meal. This is the start of the City’s employee campaign. Employees are encouraged to bring their donation to the United Way.
