A big thank you to the amazing team at Novelis in #ygk for all their hard work at Kingston Youth Shelter as part of Novelis Neighbor week! All of your hard work paid off and the results are incredible. Thank you for continuing to give to the community and making this space even more welcoming and comfortable for youth in our community. Special thanks to Tim Hortons Kingston for donating coffee and treats throughout the week too! #community #support
CUPE 174 donation
A big shout out to Kingston Health Sciences Centre Hospital Worker’s Union CUPE 1974 – last week CUPE 1974 President Barb DeRoche and VP Terry Pascoal stopped by the United Way KFL&A office to drop off a very generous $5,000 donation! Thank you so much to all the frontline workers for all you are doing to keep our community safe throughout the pandemic and for this amazing #locallove and support!
2020 Campaign Touchdown
Antje McNeely, 2020 United Way Campaign Chair, invites you to celebrate with your community as the region-wide fundraising total is announced.
We can’t gather for breakfast (or more importantly the Ambassador’s bacon!), but please join us for a virtual celebration featuring 2020 campaign chair, messages from dignitaries and workplaces; hear from an agency impacted by your donations, and watch the all-important number reveal!

United Way of KFL&A would like to acknowledge this traditional territory’s longer existence and its significance for the Indigenous people who lived and continue to live on Turtle Island.
We are situated on traditional Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee and Huron-Wendat land. There are Métis and other non-status First People from many Indigenous Nations present in our community today. This acknowledgement symbolizes the United Way KFL&A’s first step, of many, along this path toward Indigenous reconciliation, in a respectful manner.
