Commando Challenge: from Combat Firing to Trying Out the Grenade Range

“This is an event where people can come and contribute money but for our perspective, it gives them a little bit of a military challenge. A chance to come through, experience what our soldier do, and demonstrate not just fitness but teamwork.”

From combat firing to trying out the grenade range, teams of civilians got a change to test their soldiering skills on Saturday.

The Commando Challenge is held to support the United Way’s annual Campaign.

The action packed day-long event tests each participant’s physical, mental and emotional strength.

The Commando Challenge is just one of many charitable events put on through out the year by the Kingston Garrison, which has a long history of being involved with the United Way.
