The Starlight Film Festival will be supervised by adult volunteers and police officers. Guests attending the event will require photo identification (student card) or proof of high school status. Admission will be from 12:30 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. Students under 18 years of age must remain inside until 6:30 a.m. If a student decides to leave before the completion of the event, a supervisor on duty will contact parents and arrange for safe transportation.
Established in 1941, United Way serving KFL&A has worked to strengthen lives by bringing together the financial resources of the community – business, labour, individuals and government – in support of a network of social service and health agencies. Through these agencies and their programs, people find help and in many cases opportunity for a better life. Over 74,000 people in KFL&A received help last year from a United Way funded service.
