United Way to Announce 2012 Campaign Goal
Join us for the Annual Campaign Kick-off Breakfast on September 11
United Way serving Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington (KFL&A) will launch its 2012 campaign on Tuesday, Sept. 11, with a Kick-off Breakfast at the Ambassador Conference Resort. The doors open at 7 a.m. and ceremonies start at 7:30 a.m.
We’re serving up a delicious hot and cold buffet breakfast, along with a generous helping of community spirit as Campaign Chair Lloyd Fleming cuts the ribbon on Campaign 2012. Over 600 United Way supporters, volunteers and donors will enjoy breakfast and the much anticipated 2012 region-wide campaign goal will be announced.
This year’s Campaign Kick-Off is co-sponsored by BMO Financial Group, TyRoute Communications Inc. and the Ambassador Conference Resort.
The money raised during Campaign 2012 will fund vital social services used by people in Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington every day.
In 2011 KFL&A residents set a local fundraising record as they exceeded the $3,200,000 goal. It marked the 13th straight year in which the United Way has surpassed its fundraising goal.
