RCMP Tree Sale
Saturday’s rainy weather didn’t stop the community from supporting the Kingston RCMP’s annual Christmas tree sale benefiting the United Way. Trees of all shapes and sizes were being sold for 35 dollars. The event has been held in Kingston for the past 10 years. Last year local mounties managed to raise two-thousand dollars.
“What makes this event so successful is that we have people in the community that like to support the United Way. We have regular customers that come in every year/ they come in they purchase the trees and also donate money to the United way. So we couldn’t make this happen without the success of the community and people coming in”.
