2021 United Way Campaign Chair Announced
United Way KFL&A gears up for its 80th annual campaign
Kingston, ON (April 14, 2021) – The United Way of Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington is pleased to announce the appointment of Daren Dougall, Regional Manager, for the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services as your 2021 Campaign Chair.
Dougall will build on the great momentum generated by 2020 chair Antje McNeely, Chief of Police for the Kingston Police Force.
“It has been an amazing experience, and an honour and privilege to chair the 2020 United Way campaign,” said Antje McNeely, 2020 Campaign Chair, United Way KFL&A. “I feel good passing the reins on to Daren Dougall. His strong leadership, along with the dedication of our Campaign Cabinet volunteers, is essential to help us continue to support the most vulnerable in our community.”
“I am excited and looking forward to doing what I can to make the 2021 campaign a huge success,” said Dougall. “I believe every person in our community matters. We need to do everything we possibly can to eliminate barriers that our friends, family and neighbours face to achieving health and happiness; United Way works to do just that and I am honoured to be asked to contribute to my community this year as Campaign Chair.”
This year’s campaign will continue to address new challenges as the community works together to find innovative ways to support those most impacted by the pandemic. United Way KFL&A’s 2021 Campaign Cabinet is hard at work planning and anticipating changes that will need to be made to the typical campaign structure.
This year’s campaign will continue with the theme of ‘Local Love’ and how this local love can be seen in action and in response as our community continues to adapt to the current circumstances.
The 80th annual United Way KFL&A Campaign will kick off on Friday, September 10, 2021. Stay tuned for more details.

United Way of KFL&A would like to acknowledge this traditional territory’s longer existence and its significance for the Indigenous people who lived and continue to live on Turtle Island.
We are situated on traditional Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee and Huron-Wendat land. There are Métis and other non-status First People from many Indigenous Nations present in our community today.
